HTTP 500 error

I am using a file to pull up lab results and it works fine. I would like to add a file to pull in the patient name. When I join the file that contains names the results show up in the 'Edit SQL Query' page correctly. When I build the page it gets a http500 error. If I go back in and delete the joined file and rebuild it works fine . So the question is why is it that when I join a file I get the http 500 error even though I can see the results in the edit SQL query menu, and when I remove the joined file why does it all of a sudden work?

I am also getting this issue. Is there a simple answer to this matter.

Jeremy,
Error 500 is a generic error produced by IIS and accounts for more than 50% of all ASP errors.
