Image quality of Thumbnails

Is any way to vary image quality of thumbs, I want to increase image quality of thumbs because The generated thumbs are not as I expected.

to enlarge thumbnail edit thumbnail size on the "Edit as" settings dialog on the Visual Editor tab.

He means "the quality" of thumbnail of an image/picture created on fly when we upload an image/picture.

I got the same problem. When I upload my images, the quality of auto-created thumbnail is very very poor.

Is there anyway to improve the thumbnail quality? (not size of thumbnail)

I found the same problem. In fact, the quality of the photos and the thumbs are really very, very poor. Here is a task for the developers team to improve this item in both, ASP and PhpRunner app. Or ... maybe they can say to us, how the user can solve this problem in what part of the scripts generated by the app.

I'm using the 5.0 version (not remember which build, sorry)
Is there a way to improve the quality of the photos??
