After many months using ASP Runner 2.4 as a central part of my company's web-based application architecture, I finally had time to devote focused time to ASP Runner Pro 3.1. I must say, the aim of ASP Runner 3.1 is right on the money! It amazes me that more products like this have not been put together, because for my time, ASP Runner does exactly the most efficient thing possible in the realm of putting data onto the web.
Unfortunately, I have encountered definite problems using ASP Runner Pro 3.1. For instance, the generated ASP application is demanding an EMAIL entered into a field that does not accept emails, but actually is a drop-down box filled with lookup values via the lookup wizard in the formatting part of ASP Runner.
I want to make sure I have the right version. I downloaded the product yesterday. I am running the trial version.
I notice a key feature that I needed: the ability to put a label besides a URL into a hyperlink. I have users excited about the prospects for drill-through applications, where they will be able to click on data to see more detail.

p.s. Since orignially posting here, I encountered another apparent problem. On the LIST PAGE, I am selecting a field for ordering the list., and checking the DESCENDING box. I have used the DESCENDING box many times on ASP Runner 2.4, but in 3.1, it does not seem to work, at least not every time.
