Problem with Add Field in Visual Editor in v5?

I have used several previous versions of phprunner and was always able to add fields on the Visual Editor.
Now I have an Add page, and when I try to add a field I get

{build_edit_control field="accept_privacy" value=$value_accept_privacy mode="add"}


instead of

{$accept_privacy_editcontrol}


Is this a bug or a new twist I am not grasping? The field does not actually work, fyi.

Make sure you run the latest build of PHPRunner (587).
