PHPRunner 5.0 is available for download
PHPRunner 5.0 requires new registration keys. This update is free to customers who purchased PHPRunner less than one year ago. All other customers can upgrade for $99.
If you are eligible to get a free upgrade and haven't yet received a new key contact support@xlinesoft.com sending your order number or registration email address so we can locate your order in our database and send you a new key.

New features include:

  • DIV-based templates. This means cleaner HTML code and less "Page need to be reset" warnings. See PHPRunner manual, Advanced topics->PHPRunner templates for more info.
  • Data Access Layer generator. This feature will be a great help for those who need to

    code events don't know SQL. See PHPRunner Manual, Advanced topics->Events->Data Access Layer for more details.
  • New Charts (see online chart builder for examples)
  • Templates Merge

    Create a new project using two templates or add a template to existing project
  • Master-details improvements

    Multiple primary-foreign keys to link tables


Number of details records on the list page

Inline preview of details records


  • Multilanguage tables/fields labels
  • Lookup wizard with built-in search
  • Reports export to Word, Excel, PDF
    Enterprise edition
    Enterprise edition includes all standard edition features and adds online report/chart builder. Report/chart builder integrates into generated application, supports all security modes, uses the same color scheme etc.

Yes, it's not in PHPRunner 5.0. New version of charts make it more difficult. We'll try get it back eventually.

Is PHPR5 fully back-compatible with PHPR4.2 (events, DAL, etc.)? Currently I'm having some errors converting v. 4.2 files to 5.0...

You are right. It is why have I asked about the back-compatibility of some new features (DAL, etc.). Anyway, DIV should be faster and more stable. Thanks.

Hi, Well done with PHPRunner 5, it's a welcome update and I was pleasantly surprised! I have a strange problem with the visual editor when I select the radio button "edit as" page. Is this normal or am I the only one?

Upload with FTP still not working for me at all, since upgrading to version 4.2 it stopped working now using v 5 build 448 and still has issues, have reinstalled o/s and phprunner since, still using same web host though....other ftp apps are working great!
Just a question regarding installing new builds; Is it better to uninstall existing phpr then install the latest build or just reinstall over the top of existing install?

Pfff, same here, ftp module in PHPrunner 5.0 rel 444 works fine with the demo account but not with inspirunner; it aborts and the application crashes every 30 minutes. filezilla ftp works OK <img src='https://asprunner.com/forums/file.php?topicimage=1&fieldname=reply&id=34238&image=1&table=forumreplies' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':angry:' />

None of the list pages center in the browser in ver. 5, they all align left.

I tried to fix by adding center_block divs, but it doesn't wrap the menu just the the rest of it.
Where/how can we center the entire list page in the broweser as in previous versions?

we don't plan to update PHPRunner 5.0. 766 is the latest build.

Next version will be PHPRunner 5.1.
