hi..

i have created already an sql query for my table TRANSACTION by grouping it according to type..EXAMPLE TYPES: ASSET, LIABILITY, CAPITAL ETC,,,.. AND IVE TRIED ALREADY USING REPORT.. THE QUESTION :

[color=#000080]HOW WILL I GET THE TOTAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 'ASSET' LESS DEDUCTIONS etc. AND DISPLAY IT.?? MY ONLY PROBLEM IS TO GET THE DIFFERENCE AND HOW TO DISPLAY IT.. THNX

EX : I HAVE DATA IN MY DATABASE. EACH DATA IS CATEGORIZE AS "ASSET", "LIABILITY", EXPENSE.... EACH OF THESE CATEGORY HAS ITS AMOUNT. .

NOW, IN THE REPORT, I CAN ONLY ADD-UP OR CHECK THE SUM CHECKBOX TO GENERATE THE TOTAL AMOUNT...

BUT:

NOT JUST THAT...... I WANT TO DEDUCT THE TOTAL AMOUNTS FROM LIABLITY AND EXPENSE TO THE ASSET AND DISPLAY THE DIFFRENCE..... IS THERE ANY WAY TO DO THAT? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA ON HOW TO HANDLE THAT DURING SQL QUERY???
