Problems with MAC OS

I have a client with MAC OS: Netscape 7+, Explorer 5+ or Safarie browsers, who seems to have two problems when using:

  1. In the Edit page the use of drop down menus for the date entries will not save to the datbase.
  2. The new RTE does not display for this plateform
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Sorry, I don't have a chance to test it on Mac OS. Probably Javascript

implementation is different on this platform.
If your client sees any errors using dropdown controls or RTE you can

post it here.

I have the same problems. A client of ours use MAC and they do not see the Rich Text Editor. When can we expect to get this problem resolved?

Won't happen until Safari supports geko- Apple has no plans. However the new Firefox 1.0 for MAC does support the RTE or you could use a JAVA applet ( not JavaScript) and subsitute it for the current one. As far as I know there is no Public Domain Java Applet RTE though! Web Wiz has RTE that will work, but it has no support for css; it is not free.

I will have our client try the Firefox browser.
Thank you

I had our client try the Firefox 1.0 for MAC and they still do not have the RTE option displayed...
Are there any other suggestions, or a fix coming up to resolve this issue?
Thank you

Rick,
Rich Text Editor uses Design mode in IE which is definitely not implemented in FireFox and IE for MAC. There is nothing we can do about this.
