I'm starting to understand the user interface and how the program works, and PHPRunner is everything I had hoped and more. Now, I can rapidly design, tweak, and deploy web databases. Thanks!
Best,

Christopher

Yes I agree fully!

I am very happy with it. Now I am also in the status of tweaking the last out of it by Events etc.
btw. just tried the new Codegear D4PHP 2.0. -> Same shxx as last year with 1.0. Two runs, two crashes after a few

minutes: I stay with PHPrunner :-O

Yes, PHPRunner has been rock solid stable for me. A couple of times my files got a little out of sync, and the clear and reset buttons cleaned that up. The various login options are extremely useful. For me, this package seems to have just the right amount of pre-design and versatility. The builds are so fast, I can rebuild after each small edit without slowing down. The upload of only-changed-files is also a very welcome feature and is so fast, I can edit, build, upload, test on the real server. This application has exceeded by expectations.
Best,

Christopher

I'd agree it's a nice application but room as always for improvement. Makes database development a breeze.. Thank you to all those who work so hard on making this application. The ability to use blobs is what is fantastic to me..I was trying to program some php before and had a hell of a time figuring it out.
You can never satisfy all the people all the time just can't happen.
I think a real add-on would be a hiearchical arrangement view of all data and permissions in a front page flow chart type of editor. With the point and click of a mouse be able to modify any part of the data by the flow chart view. But most important is to see a real visual relationship of permissions and the flow of data and primary key id's and what not.
It has taken me some time to figure this software out which is suprising for me. If I would have had a flow type chart to follow like typed above I would have figured it out much quicker.
Also the editor really sucks in my honest opinion...I am not trying to insult the programmers cause it is hard work to come up with a good app. but lets face it folks the editor lacks...
Another thing...... I hate to say it but I think the price is too expensive. It makes me think of an O/S type cost or dreamweaver which has a hell of alot more bells and whistles...but maybe this software is made in England because my u.s. dollars are heading towards hyperinflation in the long run. LOL.
The u.s. dollar isnt what it used to be...thank congress for that one.....May take a wheelbarrow full of hundreds one day just to buy a loaf of bread if congress doesn't change it's spending habits.
Regards,

Jon
