how I do to get add a new record in a popup window

new release mentions the capacity for adding records in a popup window, but I don't see where to define it or how it works.
This is an interesting function that I need to use, but as I said ... how to do it?
The same happens with the xbox images. I´m using upload of images, but I don't see where to use this function.
I would appreciate some guide to use this functions...

Hi,
to turn on Add new item to dropdown box as a fully-featured add page in popup feature check off Add new value on the fly option for one of your dropdown on the "Edit as" settings dialog on the Visual Editor tab.
To add iBox feature check off User iBox to display images option for one of your image field on the "View as" settings dialog on the Visual Editor tab.

about adding record in a popup I thought this applied for adding records in a table listing pressing button "add new record", but I was wrong

Hi,
to turn on iBox select File or Image on the "View as" settings dialog, check off Display thumbnails option and then check off Use iBox to display images.
