Hi - need a bit of help on pdf view please.
I have downloaded the required file and added to the C:\Project files\PHPRunner4.2\source\plugins directory and built a new project to try it.
All seem ok and I ticked pdf view in "pages to view" and uploaded the project.
When I click "print all pages" on the list page of my website a new screen appears as before but now with a pdf view link.
When i click "pdf view", "building pdf" appears and a "%done" box. However nothing happens and just stalls.
Please can you help - what am I doing wrong and where can the pdf view be edited?
I am not sure I fully understand what pdf view does exactly - ave looked for documenation but can not find any.
Many thanks

Hello, everybody,

a similar problem occurs with my build 357:
After the PDF building is finished, I get:
"PDF file created. To download the file use this link."
When I click on the link ( http://localhost/toner1/getpdf.php?table=_...;id=12053144471 ), I get no error, just a blank page in my browser.
Any ideas?
Greetings,

WIlfried

contains the answer, say, you need to run "www.myserver/mywebapp/plugins/html2ps/demo/systemcheck.php"; to view a report about non-installed fonts which are hindering to let the progress bar on PDF file generation be seen in full swing and action ... HTH Hajo

Hi, folks,

I AM CONFUSED.
I ran the systemcheck and tried to get the missing fonts. I succeeded except for a few (The missing families of c8c, hbc and tbc are Cyrillic fonts, which I do not use).:

According to the makers of html2ps/pdf, the systemcheck does not pertain to PDF output anyhow...See here.
Can anyone competent please shed some light on this issue?
Because, it still does not work (blank pages are produced).
Thank you very much in advance,

Wilfried

Wilfried,
publish your project on Demo Account(last tab in PHPRunner) and send a URL wherу I can see and troubleshoot this issue to support@xlinesoft.com

Hello, Alexey,

I wish I could publish the project on the Demo Account. It stops building the zip-file because it exceeds the 5 MB limit.
However, the two tables involved in this project have a combined total of 14 records in them - so size can't be the matter. These two are the only ones checked in the datasource tables list. On the tab "Demo Account" the "Upload all tables in the database" is NOT checked. But the grand total of the ENTIRE database is 1,2 GB.
So, I fear the program tries to zip the complete database even though I am telling it not to.
What shall I do?
Greetings,

Wilfried

Alexey admin 3/18/2008

Wilfried,
build an SQL script for your database or just two tables involved. Zip the script and contents of PHPRunner output directory and send the archive to support@xlinesoft.com
