Lookup wizard problem: confirmed

here is how to replicate a problem.

1. create a database with 2 tables:
   table1
   id=autonumber
   
   booktype =text
   table2
   
   booktypeID=autonumber
   
   booktype=text
   proceed to build an application using all defaults
   click BUILD
   APPLICATION WORKS!!!!!
   now:click back and
   proceed to the visual editor to the ADD/EDIT page
   
   double click on the booktype box
   
   choose edit as as aLookup wizard.
   
   choose lookup table
   
   choose fields appropriately TEST it within the ASP runner
   
   in the visual editor
   
   click BUILD
   APPLICATION FAILS.

this is SAME project but there are no lookups used.

in addition to all these( today I only devoted entire day to ASP runner)
if I use instead of the looup tables: the data I typed in the left window: the application works.but that DEFEATS the purpose.

very frustratedly, I had to clean up my computer from all previous versions of ASP runner, removed all instances in the registry, reintalled IIS, tested ASP,php etc. everything worked ok.

except this Lookup wizards in the latest build 393.
Really, who can confirm same problems with look up please.

You have an error in lookup wizard setup.

You linking text "Manual" field to numeric "Manual ID"

Either choose another Link field or modify the field types in the database.

I am experiencing the same issue. When i remove the dependant lookup, the issue goes away.

It's difficult to tell you what's happening without seeing actual files.
