Hey guys im new to the phprunner scene and cant wait to get started exploring the program. I have created a DB username and password but still can not login. Can someone please help and maybe walk me through a few ideas how to get started. The error im getting is:
Cannot connect to the Database.

Can't connect to MySQL server on 'Localhost' (10061)

Make Sure host name, login and password are correct.
Some MySql hosts do not allow remote connections. Try "Connect Using PHP" option instead.

Is your MySQL database on your own machine, or is it on an external web server?

I put a support ticket in and this is what they sent me:

Make sure you have the correct IP address of the MySQL server. The one I use is on a different IP than my website is on.

Thanks for the tutorials ill have a read now. I did recieve this from Globat.com as well. So i have to connect using php I guess. - JT
Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for contacting the Globat Signature Support. I understand that you want a remote connection for your database, unfortunately we dont allow that from our server for security purpose. You can only access your database from GCC > database > phpmyadmin.
