Calendar Template general questions

rayjvb author

Hello, any help on this would be greatly appreciated. This evening, I loaded the calendar on a test web site. I have a customer that will be needing the calendar very shortly (actually late next week). This is my first time to look at the calendar aside from the xlinesoft demo. Once loaded, everything seemed self explanatory, until I logged in as a guest, and clicked on any link or event within a specific day. The demo displays a view of the event. My load on the other hand, produces the error when I try to view the event.
You may replicate the error by going to the following link.

  1. http://f4all.com/calendar/login.php
  2. click on the guest login link
  3. click on any of the sample events. There are only a few.
Thanks in advance for any of your help.

Hi rayjvb
I too have the same issue. Strange thing is when I publish to the support account - no errors. When I try on my real account, same error.

Steve and rayjvb,
tell me what version of PHP and MySQL you have installed on your Web server.

PHP version is PHP Version 4.3.10.
I uploaded phpinfo.php to the following address.
http://www.f4all.com/phpinfo.php
If you click on the link above, it'll give you all of the php information.
Thank you for all your help in the matter.

Hi Sergey
The calendar update I downloaded had timestamps of 29/02/2008 - is this right? If yes, did not fix problem. <img src='https://asprunner.com/forums/file.php?topicimage=1&fieldname=reply&id=26643&image=1&table=forumreplies' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

hmmmmm. . . . . . every time I download I do not get this version. Will keep trying.

admin 3/8/2008

Steve,
I guess it's cached by your browser.
Try to clear browser cache.

I have cleared caches, used different computers, used different download methods and still no luck. Every time I build with the 'new' download, the same error repeats.
Rayjvb, have you had any luck resolving the 256 error?

admin 3/17/2008

Guys, sorry about this inconvenience.

We'll post an update tomorrow.
I'd appreciate if someone can post a link where I can see this error.

Just in case turn on debugging setting $dDebug variable to true in include/dbcommon.php file.

admin 3/27/2008

Steve and rayjvb,
we have tested it on MySQL 4.1.16 and 4.1.22. Works just fine on both.
I need more info from you. If you can send me URL to the application that breaks along with FTP access info that would be great. Send it to support@xlinesoft.com. I'll try to troubleshoot this on your web server.

I have changed to a different server and all works as it should! Thank you for your help.
