Master table View

Currently when you do the master table thing and you click on the detail page, it puts the master record information at the top. WHICH IS GREAT. But I am wondering if there is a way to change the look of it. Instead of being in a table format. Is there a way to create your own master table layout look?
My goal is to use that data and the list data below be similar to an invoice page.
I hope I am making sense?

If master table is included into the project you can edit master table header in Visual Editor.
