Reordering the items in the menu tab is not accepted, I think.

When I come back to the page, the original ordering exists.
On the published website the ordering is without my changes.

Gert,
try to reset your page where tables are not reordered in Visual Editor.

Gert,

try to reset your page where tables are not reordered in Visual Editor.

This is on the page 'Fields order and totals', tab: Menu
when an up/down arrow is used to nudge an item to another position,

that stubborn item is on the original position when I leave the tab or the page,

and come back to inspect if the item is behaving well.
Regards,

Gert

Gert,
I cannot reproduce this. Shoot an email to support@xlinesoft.com with screenshots and step-by-step instructions on reproducing this.

Hi,
I think may be due to too many menu items. I have many different views and menu items

for different users group to control users' privileges.
When my web is getting bigger with many menu items, it happened randomly when i add new menu item.
Don't know if it will help you, here's what i do
Rename the menu name at database create view or table,

then proceed to the reorder page and try to re-order again.

Then back to database view/table to rename back to original name.

Then proceed to reorder page to see if new order stays,

else go back to the first step and rename and try a few times until it stays.
Another way i got around was to name the menu item by number,

eg.
1.Order 2.Product 3.FAQ
Then it stays most of the times. But later i discovered first method better

in order to save space on the menu.
Rgds
