I need to move my website to a different domain name, but do not want to move all the databases also. Leaving them on the old website causes the client problems when the old website directory names are shown in Internet exporer. Who knows a way to show the starting (new) website address and not the address of the website the databases are running under.

It is standard what happens in internet explorer, the website you go to is mentioned in the address bar. When you go to the next page within the website, you will see the address line change to the actual page address.
As I have a new website name (www.amsterdamhaarlembasketballweek.nl) I have set a forward to the old webname www.basketballweek.nl, but now you can see the change in the address bar. I just want to have the new website name in the address bar and not show the old name at all.
To see it, log in to www.ahbw.nl and you see the change when rerouted.

I believe you can run your website in invisible frame to make this happen.

Search the Google for URL masking for more info.
