I just noticed that when I'm working with a view that I've created that has a where clause added in the SQL to limit the records available to the view, the search prefill on the list page (where it guesses what you're searching for based on what you've type in so far) brings up suggestions based on ALL records (not just the ones limited to my view). If I select one of the suggested prefills that's not within the records of my view it won't be listed but it's still strange that these excluded records come up in the search prefill.
