Inline Edit - problems and solution

Sergey,
Having spent more time with the inline edit, i've finally identified the cause of the problem where changed values using inline edit are not saved.
The problem seems to be that if you don't include an actual EDIT page in your project, yet still have Inline turned on, Inline edit will not work. On the published LIST page, you still get the option to inline edit, and you can enter the values, but they will not save.
Could you please confirm if this is a bug or will the edit page always be required?
