Unable to limit users to view only their own data in report

I am using PHPRunner version 4.0 Build 265. I am unable to limit users to view only their own data in reports. I have successfully created a customized view and a standard table view that limit users to their own data, but in reports each user is able to view all data. I have set the "users can see and edite their own data only" option with the appropriate user and main table owner id fields. There is no option to set a master-detail relationship for reports. I have reset all pages on the visual editor tab. It is quite important the users see only their own data in reports. Any help on this would be appreciate.

Hi JohnBC,
I assume you are using the login system to direct users to their own data upon login? It's important to remember that if you already had the user data from another table before creating your PHPR project that the OwnerID field under Advanced Security Settings must be looking for the unique identifying ID in order to be able to sort the database data pertinent to their credentials. Check that area first.

Hello,

we have same problems. We have checked the permissions tabs and everything seemsOK but we can't restricted data in reports? It seems the array tables_data for the report isn't complete. The field [.OwerID] isn't present?

Thank you for your response.

Dave:
Thank you for your response. To answer your question, yes. As I mentioned, it works fine with tables and custom views, but not with reports. Any additional ideas on things to try to resolve this issue?

Jane,
Thank you for acknowledging this issue. Two questions: 1. can you suggest a workaround to get the reports to work properly and 2. will the update that you are referring to be an update to Version 4.0 or will it be Version 4.1 which is currently in beta?

Hey Support,
I wanted to ask the same question, I have a functioning website except the reports when I try to set only certain users to view only their data. I mean do I wait till it is addressed in the next build, or will you be able to address it in build 265. I just wanted to know do I work with the latest build or should I go back to the production build.
We all appreciate your hard work and how much you keep working to improve your product.
Thanks
Mike

Jane:
I have downloaded and installed the Build 295 of version 4.1, but the problem still remains - users see only their own data in customized views and standard table views but in reports they see everyone's data.

Yes, this is not fixed yet.
We have several minor issues left including this one. It will be fixed this week.
