Smarty error

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /homepages/33/d208885282/htdocs/labradors/labradors/libs/Smarty_Compiler.class4.php on line 348
Please help - what should I be looking at for this error? The only changes I made outside what the program does are in the visual for the list page, the add new and the view pages.

Mary,
this error happens when some smarty tags have syntax errors.

I recommend you to reset your pages on the Visual Editor tab and rebuild your project.
