Problem with russian textarea field

Hi,
I've built demo project that contains only one textarea field. I've put some russian statements into it using innovaeditor. There are only few statements but it is not displayed properly on list and view screen. There is information statement in column test: LONG BINARY DATA - CANNOT BE DISPLAYED

I understand that russian characters are stored in MySQL as:

I've tried to set on and off 'Truncate large text' option but it doesn't help
Why?

I drafted a simple test demo and copied your Russian text into the PHPR built-in editor and got:

Jacek,
we found that when some specific collation is used PHPRunner treat text field as binary ones.

We'll find a workaround for this.

I deleted the link meanwhile as it made no sense to me having TWO correctly displaying demo site links under one thread on ground or in other words, me here, under Mozilla 2.0.3 browser, is seeing your demo site as per the above link correctly displaying the Russian language characters (same did mine, hence the deletion ...) as per just taken screenshot at my end under:
