Mouse-over sort control

Is there a way to control the way the mouse-over information on a "Master Detail Relationship" is sorted?
Example:

Mouse-over shows "Date" and "Comment".... I want to sort by date with the most current on top.
If I select the detail my list sorts properly but the mouse-over does not.
