Windows Vista

we have some issues on Vista however it mostly applies to IIS 7.

I recently installed windows vista on my computer . Asprunner seems to work fine except under security ; the userid field and ownerid fields are blank . it is not pulling the fields over from the database. any suggestions or is asprunner just not compatible. I have build 219 installed.

My problem occurs only with vista . The lookup columns in the seurity section of asprunner do not show userid field lookup and ownerid field lookup. It works fine with xp with all my projects. None of my projects show the fields under this lookup colunmns. I can send one of my projects but this will only be reproduced with vista.

Is there going to be a fix for windows vista and Access database compatability? There was mention of an update 2 weeks ago.

Anyone have any issues with IE7. I having some login and loading issues.

We first get a error 500 then when you refresh it loads.

We are looking at the users with problems and the only thing is IE 7 sofar

I am using ASP Runner Pro 4.0 Build 98

I am using a username and password to allow access to the database.

When I refresh it goes back to the login page but after entering in the correct username and password I still get the http 500 error.

this could be related to tighter security settings introduced in IE7.

Just in case check if cookies are enabled, Javascript is turned on etc.

Everyone here seems to be relating IE 7.0 with Vista ; The problem is not IE 7.0 but is Vista Itself . IE 7.0 runs ASPrunner fine. Vista and IE7.0 does not ; but Vista is the problem not IE 7.0 . I have tested this with numerous projects with no errors . It's only Vista in the combination. If someone can show IE 7.0 with vista please upload project to support so they can test.

My new laptop has Vista Business with IIS7 and it does not seem to want to create websites.

enable IIS 6 compatibility settings in IIS 7 and you are golden.

Do you have any specific directions on how to do this? I have added compatibility but it still doesn't display the page correctly in IE7.

I am able to use the build and create a site now though.

if you a able to create a website that means IIS is configured in IIS 6 compatibility mode.

What is the error that you getting?
