HI
LOVE THE THUMBNAILS feature!! Bravo!
Can you suggest an HTML Editor / process?
Here's what I'm doing currently to gain a bit more graphic control over layouts.

  • Currently capturing code from Visual editor -
  • Pasting into Dreamweaver and editing -
  • Returning results to Visual Editor -

Working pretty well -

Anyone have experience with other products? Other solutions?
Thanks!
Also noticed that my images directory needs to be 777 for posting photos to work properly - I get php errors otherwise. However when I FTP from PHPRunner - the directory changes (chmods) from 777 to 755 and subsiquently fails to accept images. Sorry if this is a naive comment -

Farago,
what Dreamweaver can do that Visual Editor cannot?
I'm not saying Visual Editor is superior Dreamweaver.

What features Visual Editor lacks that make you use third party editor?

Hi Sergey
Thanks as always for your help. Appreciate your fine work. PHP Runner is creating new opportunities for graphic designers like us as our clients demand more data integration in our work. Linking client databases to our design and publishing software has always been out of reach for small shops like mine - but PHP Runner has changed that. Thanks!
Dreamweaver is doing a fine job integrating with Visual Editor. Love them both. Capturing code and popping it over to Dreamweaver helps me (a visually oriented graphic designer and lousy html coder) by providing me with a modest bit of WYSIWYG control over table creation and editing. As a clumsy html novice, this little extra step is particularly helpful.
Love to chat with you about contract work for client Barnes & Noble if you have time. Last years PHP runner project was a lot of fun but took me WAY beyond my limits as a database developer. Eeek. We managed to prove our concept but now its time to turn this over to a pro like yourself.
