In testing the lastest ASPRunner 4.1 ( build 150), I ma comming across the following problems:
The new WYSIWYG editor does not allow you to change the record field length either as a length vaue input or using the Editor and draging the window of the field.
I tested with two records and the list view defualts to 10 records view per page but in reality display on one record per page.
In general, I think the new WYSIWYG editor is very slow and awkward to use. Think I will go back to v 4.0 as the v 4.1 is extremly frustrating to work with.

to change field length on Edit/Add pages double-click on field and change field size.

I did change the filed length as you suggested but the WYSIWYG Edit does not reflect the change. I have to publish first to see the change. Again the WYSIWYG Edit is very slow. Also, I ma noticing that perhaps you have changed something regarding the Virtual/Output Directories/URL . The new version will not allow me to set my virtual/output/URL to anythng other than the root directory. If I make or select the ditrectory, when I publish, it clears my entries and defualts everything back to the root directory.
Again, this latest version is extremely frustrating. I have downloaded CodeCharge and will make a comparison with ASPRunnerPro

Richard,
you are correct. Edit field size is not reflected in visual editor. This feature is still to be added. Please note that this is a very first release with visual editor. Still a lot of work to do.
Previous version didn't have visual at all. New version don't allow you to see actual field size in editor. Is that so frustrating? Also what exactly is slow besides it's just slow.
PS. You can choose any virtual directory and any output directory. No restrictions.
If you don't udnerstand how new features work do not hesitate to ask.

well the visual editor definately has some bugs. For some reason if i try to move fields around and set them as read me .. it will publish fine and it outputs okay on the net but then i get a pop up message saying some pages might not display correctly and in the visual editor it does indeed look all messed up!! i have fields going into other cells but looks okay after i publish. anyways i agree with the above poster that it isnt quite intuitive on and easy to modify things. but it is a neat feature. but i cant stand 4.1 right now as none of my events work anymore. so hopefully someone can send me 4.0 or if you can direct me to place i can still download 4.0. Thanks
