Build 136 has fixed number login but the remember password option is cancelled when you log out.

this behaviour is by design. Te idea of log out is to make sure you clean up all saved personal data on this box.
This is the way most web-based applications work. Gmail wotrks this way.

The operation is different between 4.0 and 4.1(136)
In 4.0 if you login in with the remember password box ticked and then log out you are returned to the login screen wit hthe login information filled in and the green tick set(ie it remembers you).
In 4.1 if you login with tick set then log out the returned login screen is blank with the tick cleared.
I think there is a problem there.

we have decided that clearing login info on log out would be smater way from security point of view.

Yes, it worked other way in ASPRunnerPro 4.0. However I you like to clear saved logon info in previous version you don't have a good way to do this. So we decided it's the time to fix this issue.

Yes I agree it is better security. I have several times left my login exposed when accessing the site form different computers.
Would it make sense to remove the option box as it now has no function. It might save you support emails.

I'm afraid you misunderstand the purpose or Remember password checkbox.
If you Log out it clears saved username/password.

If you simply close the browser window username and password are remembered.
