How to create list of items from db?

I have been testing asprunner and really like it, I would however like some futher direction on how to accomplish my goal -
Instead of showing all of the data from my tables right away, I would like a list to be created that shows the data from 1 or 2 fields that I specify, then based on that I can click to "view" the one I would like to see all of the data from, and have it be listed vertically, not horizontally.
Any Ideas?

Phillip,
just selected two fields to be displayed on the List page and the rest of fields to appear on the Edit page.
Take a look at ASPRunner's live demo to get an idea of what I'm saying.

I second that thought! That is a great feature that I think we all really could use. It would be simple to implement basically a similar option to edit ie. new windows, more detals, etc. Only this new module would not allow the ability to edit. I for example am looking for a way to create a search page for my companies art galleries. I would like for user to be able to search the galleries, and be presented with a very friendly results page with a link to "details". In the details windows there would be mush more information available. This would be just the thing!
