Make it modern, more flexible and more user centric
Ideas:
- Drag&Drop fields into the form instead of the menu and dropping fields somewhere
- alphabetically (at least optional) sort of fields, snippets and buttons in the menus and dialogs
- Search function in snippets and buttons dialogs (if you have many of them, it is hard to find one)
- Free placement of all elements together with a free container setup left, header, footer and body as in modern Bootstrap page builders, custom page templates
- All widgets in all pages. Let us decide whether we want tabs in a dashboard, cards above a list and so forth
- more Wysiwyg in the Designer, at least show an icon for the field type, colors in the layout, borders and more
- allow copying layouts between solutions
- accordion element, tab element, faq element (all the modern stuff other development/lowcode solutions offer)
- differentiation not only between desktop and mobile, but between desktop >=Full HD, tablets and mobile out of the box
- buttons with parameters for more versatile programming
- real print footers for print layouts (view, print and list)
- more options for pdf generation (for example background from a database field)
- image placement with alt tag
