Some of the developers at PHPRunner have asked me:

  • Do my Blog plugins work in version 11?
  • How are plugins installed in version 11?

This article is to answer these questions for all those who wish to test their developments in the aforementioned version and who use any of the plugins that they have downloaded from my Blog.

Technical Solution

In theory, all code that is valid for v10.91 is valid for v11, so the plugins (as far as I have tested) are valid for both versions.

If you detect that any plugin has a problem, [you can tell me]( mailto: fernandohumanes@gmail.com) so I can evaluate whether it is a problem with the plugins or the situation with version v11.

I will maintain the download format of the plugins as required for version v10.91 or earlier, that is, a ZIP file that must be deployed in the “ PHPRunnerPlugins ” directory and which includes the EDIT version and the VIEW.

It will have to be installed as indicated in the article installing Plugins , and once installed, follow these steps to “reinstall” them in version v11.

1.- How to start installing plugins in v11?

As seen in the image, on the screen that indicates how to view or edit a field, there is a new button to indicate that you want to install a plugin.

2.- What file must be indicated for the installation?

From the location where they are installed for version v10.91 or earlier, navigate between the “edit” directory and the “view” directory, choose the plugins and inside, as in the example, you will find a file with the extension “php” and with the name of the plugin preceded by the word “Edit” or “View”, which is what you have to indicate that you want to install.

The PHPRunner v11 version, from that location captures all files required by the plugins.

In this way, one by one, you can load all the plugins that your projects require (it will be a load for all projects).

I haven't found a way to install them en masse.
