Adding Type or Draw Option to the signature pad

Has anyone modified the Signature Pad to provide "Type or Draw" options. It looks like the plug-in being used supports it. I'm hoping not to have to reinvent the wheel if this has been done by someone. Here is the link to the code I found on Github.
