Recurring Tasks

I have some task records. I want to add the columns to the record to be able to allow the user to setup recurring dates. So Interval, days of week, maybe even days of month, recurrence, etc. I don't really need time. Then of course the edit form being able to allow the user to setup the recurrence. Then a query to pull up the next recurring item. I would show that in a Views List page.
Any help would be appreciated.
