Hello,
I'm looking for PHPrunner developer(s) who can assist me ad-hoc (via Google Meet) or via chat for a fee. I'm thinking of paying per hour or part thereof.
Of course, you can't guarantee that you can provide help when I need it at that moment, but I just want to see if this way of working is feasible for both you and me. No response = no problem.
NB. PHPrunner is a great development platform for no-/low-coders like me, but sometimes it's just too hard to solve something or build something which is a bit more complex, or it just lacks my experience.

Hi Edwin,
before an assistance, advanced phprunner developers need to know: How are your skills in php, javascript and css ?
For ex. if you dont know php, you have to learn it first. Javascript and css some basics are helpful.
Next, can you provide one simple example where you get stuck.

I want to use as much of the NO-code capabilities of PHPR as possible and as little custom PHP or JavaScript code as I can.
This is because I want to ensure that the applications remain as compatible as possible with future versions of PHPR and are easy for both myself and others to manage.
My knowledge of PHP/JS/code/DB’s:
I have a basic knowledge of programming (formerly Assembler, BASIC, DBasze, Clipper, VB, etc.) but not specifically in PHP, and I don't really want to go in-depth learning it. I want to remain an application developer, not become a coder.
With ChatGPT as a code assistant, I can manage quite well nowadays, and it also gives reasonably good suggestions when I ask PHPR specific questions!
Make use of Xlinesoft's Support:
I know that support options are available, but it states that these are only via Email and sometimes I want hands-on/ad-hoc ("show and tell" via Wedconference) support as well as explanations.
And $100 per hour is a reasonable price for me when building custom applications with Xlinesoft specialized developers, but for the type of support and explanation I'm looking for, it's a bit too much in my opinion.
I'm more looking for a second line of support, so kind of a whizzki.... ehhh whizzperson ;)
BTW. if the pricing is calculated by the hour (instead of per minute or quarter-hour), it doesn't quite match my needs. I hope you don't take it the wrong way, it's just a consideration from my side
Examples:

  • Most of the time, the things I'm looking for are related to my lack of experience in PHPR, i.e. I don't know if things are possible without custom code or not.
    The HELP files explain a lot, but not that many code examples in different situations, and the forum has a lot of information, but it's hard to find the right answers.
    Example: I changed the field order in a Design (list view), and no matter what I try, the uploaded view does not reflect what I changed. Full build, delete files, etc. But maybe it's a bug, I don't know


  • Database/MySQL related questions
    Example: What is the best method, a composite unique key in MySQL or in PHPrunner define?


  • REST API related questions
    Example: Because PHPR does not support SQL Update Queries and I'm not comfortable enough with phpMyAdmin to execute a SQL Update, I need some assistance. It's an all records (detail) update with a value from the master record.



Hope someone can help or has a fit for this ;)

Not quite sure why do you think our support is email only. It clearly says that also phone and conferencing options like TeamViewer are available:

Hello,
Thank you for your response. Allow me to clarify:
Both the Gold and Platinum support descriptions start with the text, <em>"Email support - ...." </em>Consequently, I didn't read further and overlooked <em>"or phone support"</em>, which is only mentioned at the end of the Platinum support description.
Regarding conferencing options, they appear to be listed solely under the <em>"Online Training/Consulting" </em>section, as far as I can see. ( $200 per hour)
So if I get it right; is Platinum Support, as well as Hourly Support, possible with conferencing/TeamViewer?
I suppose that Hourly Support is planned in advance, while Platinum Support is available on-demand (with a guaranteed 4-hour response time)

Platinum support includes phone calls but it doesn't include remote assistance. TeamViewer support is a part of "Online training/consulting" package.

This is what I'm trying to explain in this thread.
I'm seeking hands-on support through a web conference - a 'show and tell' style of assistance along with explanations.
However, at a rate of $160-$200 per hour, this type of support is significantly beyond my budget
