Custom fonts in PDF?

I have a form that I am generating a PDF from and i would like one field to be a specific font. It shows up in View but when the PDF is created it falls back to the default. Am I missing something or is this just not possible?

Use Font Manager. You can add a new local font and make it available in PDF as well.

Ah yes. The impossible to find checkbox staring at me that says "Available in PDF". Sorry. Thank you.
