Adding item in the menu editor does not show on site

When I make a new table and add it to the main menu it does not show in the final version. How can I solve this?

When you use "Database Authentication" you need to adjust the permission for the user to show the table.

I did that too, to no avail

Now I see that with every build it unchecks the permission. It finally works
