Use of keypad plugin in search

Hi All,
Has anybody here used the KeyPad or Virtual Keyboard (both available as Edit extensions in the Marketplace)

for entry into the Search Field (I found no option to enable this)

It should be possible with the help of either plugin but some additional coding might be required, depending on what search option do you use i.e. Search Panel, Advanced Search, Basic search etc.

PS: If I anounce a bounty for that, is there anybody of the other users, who might be able to help me with that ? (Is USD 200 something that would be enough?)

What would it cost if I let this be done by purchased support hours?

(Suppose it would cost me much more (in time) if I try to dig into this...)
