 Use Layout from one Project in another project

Hi Everyone.
I have a designer layout in one project consists of more than 270 fields.
I'm create a second project. Is there a way, to import a layout from one project, into a second project instead of doing all the work over again.
The projects use the same database.

I believe you can export the project as template and import it to your new project. Read the manual below:
Export And Import Project
Another way will be to save the project one to another name and work from there.

There is already a second project going with lots of already. So need to import in this project.

Will export as template and the try to import into current project.
Think ive seen an article somewhere how to import tempalte in a current project
