A really useful addition would be to be able to pass a parameter to a dashboard.
Dashboards are useful when a master has several details. Rather than having to search a record again when opening a dashboard.
It would be very useful to be able to click a link/ button/ row on a standard list page which would then go to a dashboard to display
the relevant details/ views/ charts etc etc.
i.e. Using a dashboard as a grand linked details view for a list page record.
I had something similar nearly working, I was able to use a Session var and jQuery to populate the search edit on a dashboard but was never
able to automate clicking the search button.
