Sandstone theme CSS adjustment?

Hello friends,
I'm using the Sandstone theme in "small" mode and plan to adopt it for my project. I enabled "fixed top bar", "fixed side bar" and collapsible left bar on all of my pages.
I've noticed a small misalignment between the top logo panel and the top bar at the bottom of both panels. The misalignment appears to go away when I collapse the left side bar and appears when the left bar is not collapsed.

The misalignment goes away when switching to normal size mode.
Does anyone else see this when using the Sandstone theme? I assume this would be fixed in CSS, just not sure where to apply it. Any feedback appreciated.
