 How to generate a barcode

Good morning from Germany!
Imagine, we have a table with several columns. The value of the first column consists of a number with 13 digits. This value is entered manually when entering the data.
After entering this value, the program should generate a barcode and store this value in a column of the table. The generated barcode should be printed on a document later.
I bought the barcode plugin 2 years ago, unfortunately I can not find instructions on how to use it.
Does anyone have any idea what I have to do?
Thanks for the support in advance
Karlo

Greetings from Hamburg City area in Germany!

Any PLUGIN like this usually first needs to get installed into .../documents/PhprunnerPlugins folder, with most of them showing TWO (VIEW and EDIT) subfolders.

Once done, you need to change FIELD FORMAT from the default (i.e. TEXT) to CUSTOM VIEW (usually, installed plugins are causing options being listed in the

field formatting menu to get called by mouse click) or say, if properly installed, a name like "Barcode" should be listed. Once called, it could happen that

a SYNTAX oriented window with some options on the PLUGIN is shown. Whether or not such BARCODE can be as well shown in LIST page, is unknown to me

(as I never had the thing in hands), yet for sure, it would (once properly installed) definitely work in the ADD/EDIT and VIEW page.

I'm also confused, what kind of instructions you looking for and why you haven't contacted support team with this.
Are you looking for installation instructions, or plugin usage instructions, or customization instructions?
