Copy Master and childrens without save data to the database

Hi everybody
Just I am wondering if someone know how to copy Copy Master and childrens without save data to the database, there is an icon on the list page <copy> but the problem for me when I clicked on it is that copy only the master, not the childrens, and in my case, sometimes the orders has more than 20 childrens, and the enduser needs to change sometimes the quantity or delete some childrens.
When a user is taking the order by phone, sometime the client said "I want to cancel my order before submit".

but it copy child records to the database.
In my case I want to review the order (master/details) before saving to the database.
Please, help me out.
