Master Detail position

Hello,

I just updated to 8 last week, and was working on a new project. I have a question on the position of the master/details position on the list page.

The master/details mouse over information is placed always to the left of the list. What if I wanted to display it to the right? I have edited the columns, and moved it, however when you mouse over, the popup comes up to the right of the mouse, thus outside of the browser. Is there a way to have the popup of the master/details display to the left of the mouse? Or at least more to the center of the page?
