PHPRunner General questions
S sgchan author I am using PHPRunner v8 but the problem has always existed even with older versions. Assuming I add a new field into a table of an existing system. PHPRunner picks up the new field when I synchronise the database. Then when I reach Visual Editor, the entire page would be reformatted and all the changes I had previously done would be loss. Is there a way to get PHPRunner to stop reformatting unless I ask? How do guys manage that? Right now, I am copying the HTML code out into a text editor and then paste it back after PHPR reformats.

	I have that problem occasionally too. This might help. So you have a custom page layout in visual editor . When you add a new field and sync. Add the field in query designer by checkig the box then Go directly to fields tab an uncheck all boxes for new field. Then go to the custom page list,add,edit etc... . On the insert field tab above in visual editor add your field in the spot you want in custom page. This is it. It usually works and I do not have to reset and start over.
