I have a medium text field a variable number of characters. The view screen is truncating at about 100 characters. It is set as text. I have created a record with about 700 chars and that works but the view screen is truncating.

Make sure that 'Truncate large text fields' option is not selected (Miscellaneous screen).

I have unchecked that and it is still truncating.
