In my testing I have added an item to the cart. I then closed the session by closing the tab. When I reopened the cart was still there. It seems to me that the cart should be empty on each new session so that a new guest would not see an active cart. Am I missing something?

shopping cart memory is base on cookies, that means that is remember base on the PC and not the User profile.

if you delete all cookies from internet explorer or Chrome, etc, the shopping cart will be empty next time you get the page.
