Need experiences on Google CLOUD SQL connection

Hi Folks,
I just gave the hourly and package pricing on the Google pages a short look, followed by a quick run thru the database connection possibilities, in the aim to sell off web apps on hourly basis or by demand on user connections (package up to 3200 connections at the same time are possible). While I'm only familiar with connection via connection script under MySQL on a typical web server, I would be interested in a feedback by forum members in regard to the Topic Title (if any).
