I am looking to connect to an AS400 (Ibm I series) PTf level V5R1M0
The ODBC driver version is 11.00.05
Here is what I get. If I connect to the 400 using the ODBC in phprunner I see the tables(files) but I cannot see field names.
If I use the same ODBC connection and connect to MS ACCESS I can see the fields names in ACCESS
If I externally link the fields in MS ACCESS and then Connect to MS ACCESS as my data source in phprunner I can see the fields names and update etc.
Anyone got a clue why I cannot go straight in using the ODBC conenction in PHPrunner? I see a lot of extra over head using this through MS ACESS / external files... etc..
Is anyone else connecting to AS400?
