Save Field Data On Save

Can anyone think of a way to save some of the fields after a save? Currently when you hit save all the fields clear and you are ready to enter a new record. I want to be able to enter a new record but I want some of the data to remain so we don't have to re-enter it.

After Record Added Event:
Session("fieldname")= values("fieldname")

Session("fieldname2")= values("fieldname2")
