Hide Details Link If No Child Records Exist

Hi there.
I have a table with a lot of child tables linked to it. Problem is, I select the check box to hide the details links if no child records exist, but all this does is add a large white space and makes the row look bigger.

I have attached three screen shots of the problem.

If anybody can help on this please?

Trying to reset the list page should generally solve your problem.

yes, I have tried the reset page, What happens then is I get a long list of all the child tables. About 50% of them I do not want, so I highlight and delete them, but it does not solve the problem of leaving whit spaces where the links would be.

Hi,
If you have horizontal space, one possible, "no solution", is add another column and divide the links in those 2 columns. In this way it will be less high.
It is not a solution, but could be help you
