Question Regarding Page Load

THis is more a aesthetic item, but when a page loads that has any conditional javascript code the page loads all the content then hides. So if I have a DIV set to none on load the user sees the page load in full and flash to the loaded state that I have set. Is there something that can be done to eliminate the user seeing all content on page load?
