Before anything else, please bare with me, im a novice and also not a programmer.
Im been using asprunner now for quite sometime. I like it because even though I have no background in programming,
still I was able to build some simple web base programs which is a big help in our office.
Now I want to make a simple program which I find it very difficult to do. ( maybe for me only hehehe )
This is what I want to make:
I have two tables namely GIVEN NAME and SURNAME** as shown below.
Now I like to add a Custom View or another table that will link the two tables using one common denominator which is the ID NO or KEY
I dont know how to use the lookup but this is what I want to happen.
In the GIVEN NAME window, there is ID No and GIVEN NAME in which I can add, delete and edit records.
In the SURNAME window, there is ID NO and SURNAME in which I can add, delete and edit records.
While on the NAME window, there is ID NO, GIVEN NAME and SURNAME
This NAME window is for viewing only or displaying the details only.
Taking data from the GIVEN NAME table and SURNAME table and put them together if they have the same ID NO.
The name JOHN SMITH is complete because in GIVEN NAME and SURNAME table they have one commond ID NO.
Sorry if there are terms which I wrongly used, just please correct me.
Also, I hope you understand clearly what I mean.
The Name windows is the result as shown in the picture.
This is what I want to happen but I can't do it, I don't know how.
